AN apprentice at a Worcester firm has scooped a prestigious award at the Worcestershire Apprentice Awards.
Ellie Harrison, an apprentice at Barbourne Road-based Titania, was given the higher apprentice of the year award during a ceremony at West Midland Safari Park.
The apprentice joined the cyber security firm in 2016 and has since been working on planning, designing and developing two of the company’s products.
Ellie said: “I was surprised and thrilled.
"There were a lot of great apprentices at the show - I think each one of them deserved an award.”
Line manager and experienced software developer, Alen Damadzic said Ellie had always risen to the challenge, during her time at the firm.
