NEW fitness sessions designed to help people be more active are being launched.
This month, Freedom Leisure, which operates the city’s three leisure centres and provides an Active Communities Team on behalf of Worcester City Council, has launched the Active Aging sessions.
Sessions include walking football, maintaining movement exercise class, active ageing multi-sports and ballroom dancing - all being held at a variety of venues across the city.
Matt Rogers, Freedom Leisure active communities manager, said: "We know that many older people in Worcester are not being as active as they could be, so we have put together this programme to help remedy this."
Sessions cost £3 per person. For more visit freedom-leisure.co.uk/activecommworcs.
