FLOOD barrier work which was set to close a busy city centre road has been postponed.
The Environment Agency was set to carry out testing on the Hylton Road flood barrier forcing the road to close between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Thursday (November 2).
An event at the University of Worcester on Thursday means the work has now been moved to Monday, November 6.
A spokesperson from the Environment Agency said: “We have rescheduled the planned exercise and maintenance on Hylton Road to Monday 6 November 2017.
"The current date clashes with an event being hosted by the University of Worcester on Thursday.
"Our partners support us in carrying out this very worthwhile exercise in the area."
Here's our original story about the work.
