A WOMAN in her 70s has died following a two car crash.
The smash, involving a Silver Peugeot 207 estate and a green Rover 75 saloon car, took place on the A438 at Hollybush towards Ledbury at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
The Peugeot was travelling along the A438 at Hollybush towards Ledbury and the Rover was travelling in the opposite direction, towards Tewkesbury, at the time of crash.
The front seat passenger of the Rover, a woman in her 70s, was taken to Hereford County Hospital with internal injuries and sadly later died.
A man in his 70s who was driving the Rover was also taken to Hereford County Hospital with chest injuries and is currently receiving treatment.
The driver of the silver Peugeot, a woman in her 50s, was treated by paramedics at the scene for what are believed to be minor injuries.
West Mercia Police are investigating the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the cars around the time of the crash is urged to contact 101, quoting incident number 525s of 22 October.
