Original Story:
A WORCESTER road has been closed due to a car fire.
The A4440, between St Peters and Whittington, is closed in both directions following the fire, which happened at around 3.30pm.
Worcester News reader James Taylor has sent us photos of the burnt out car, which appears to be a red Renault.
Firefighters attented and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and dampen down the car.
West Mercia Police's OPU Worcestershire twitter account has tweeted about the incident, saying motorists should expect delays while recovery takes place.
