THERE will be plenty on offer in all of the sections of the next Cotswold Auction Company sale, including bisque headed dolls by Armand Marseille, Heubach Koppelsdorf and many other well-known names.

There will be teddy bears by Steiff, Hermann, Merrythought and others, a large selection of Hornby O-Gauge and Dublo' model railway equipment and many examples of lead model vehicles including Dinky, Corgi, Lesney and later Franklin Mint examples.

A large selection of dolls' houses is also on offer with dolls' house furniture and equipment alongside it. There will also be collectable Mamod live steam model traction engines on offer. One rather unusual doll is the Webber musical doll which plays Home Sweet Home and is estimated at £50-£80.

One game which will certainly appeal to all ages is the Star Wars pinball machine. This full size pinball machine should appeal to both Star Wars collectors and anyone who fancies their own pinball machine to divert the teenagers' attention from TV and computers.

Also included in the sale are some interesting pieces in the furniture section - a Victorian cast iron, oak and pine adjustable garden bench which tilts to face the sun (which should fetch £200-£400), a 1905 John Broadwood mahogany grand piano (estimated at £300-£500), a 19th century giltwood settee with blue damask seat and back (which should fetch £500-£700) and an unusual Arts & Crafts oak escritoire dated 1926 ( estimated at £200-£400).

Entries are still being accepted for this sale, on Friday, July 13, and the auctioneers would be very happy to give free estimates on items you are thinking of selling.
