MORE than 100 teddy bears owned by children at a Worcester school were part of a special fund-raising day. The bears were brought into the Thornton House School where pupils took part in a teddy bears picnic to support Action Medical Research, a charity that supports research into childhood diseases and premature babies. The event at the school for children with learning difficulties has helped raise more than £200 and included competitions and games on the day. Year six teacher at the Wyld's Lane school Tamsin Bayliss said: "The children loved the day. They were very excited about it and loved bringing their bears in and showing them off. We have done it for quite a few years now and it always goes down well."
