THERE will be a host of attractions on offer in Droitwich Lido Park during the Rotary Club's Party In The Park.

The day, which also includes an open garden tour, will be held on Sunday, July 15, from 11am. It will help raise cash for the Droitwich Spa Youth Drop-in Centre and the Barnardos children's charity.

The Rotary clubs of Droitwich Spa, in association with Droitwich Spa Town Council and Wychavon District Council, are bringing together a number of town organisations to entertain, demonstrate and publicise their activities.

Clubs and societies will showcase what they have to offer, along with fun, activity and food stalls.

Town cricketer Ashley Giles will officially open the event at 10.45am and introduce Rotary's district governor to begin the fun-packed day.

Live performances from town bands will take place in Lido Park from 11am to 2pm and members of Norbury Theatre's youth group will act out sketches.

Morris dancers, birds of prey and a fire service demonstration will also help draw the crowds.

Other groups which will showcase what they have to offer include the Royal British Legion, the Horticultural Society, Droitwich Lions, the Neighbourhood Watch Association and the town's twinning association.
