A CLASSICAL concert in Worcester has been cancelled.
Spetchley Park Gardens has announced that it has had to pull plans for the Summer Concert scheduled for this month.
Tim Davies, Marketing Manager for the Spetchley Estate said: "We were surprised and saddened to be told that the Classical Prom Company who were running our event have gone into liquidation due to the poor weather the country as a whole has experienced.
"Spetchley Park Gardens has been a concert venue before and will be hosting concerts again in the future, having built up a loyal following."
The next event planned is the play The Merry Wives of Henry VIII to be performed on the front lawn on Saturday, August 11.
