A WORCESTERSHIRE museum is set to come alive during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
The Museum Alive event is taking place at Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle between 11am and 4pm on Monday, April 17.
Visitors can discover more about the museum as its rooms and collections are brought to life through costumed characters including the Victorian School ma'am a First World War nurse, a Land Army girl and the castle's staff including the butler, nanny, maid and blacksmith.
Throughout the day visitors can join in with classes on the Victorian School with Miss Proper, and story time sessions with nanny in the nursery.
The maid will need help grinding the coffee beans, while the butler gives out orders to staff.
The nurse will be showing how to put on a sling, while Land Army girl will train children to scare the birds and milk the cows.
Hands on crafts include a chance to make thaumatropes and model Spitfires, and traditional dances will be taking place in the courtyard.
In addition to the Bank Holiday event, children's activities will be taking place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday during the Easter holidays including Easter baskets, games such as cup and ball, and Victorian Easter cards.
There is also the traditional Easter egg hunt, a museum explorer trail and colouring competition.
Museum events officer Pippa Ashmore said: "It’s going to be a fun-packed fortnight here at Hartlebury.
"We are especially looking forward to the Bank Holiday event where the castle will really be brought to life.”
Admission costs £5 for adults, £2.50 for children, while a family ticket costs £13.
