A WORCESTER school enjoyed Comic Relief fun by holding a comic book day.
Pupils from Stanley Road Primary School dressed as comic book characters last Friday.
In a colourful assembly, prizes were awarded to a Smurfette in nursery, a Captain Haddock in year 2, a truly toxic Poison Ivy in year 4 and a Joker won in year 6.
Naomi Portman, from the school, said: "Well done to all the children and adults who made the effort and especially if you sent donations to improve the lives of starving or vulnerable people around the world.
"You're all superheroes!"
