FIREFIGHTERS used a lift to get a horse back onto its hooves.
Two fire crews from Worcester were sent to assist the animal, which was on its side in Tibberton, near Worcester.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received a report about the incident, in Plough Road, at 5.48pm on Tuesday, March 29.
Firefighters from Bromyard also attended and worked with a vet and animal rescue staff who were at the scene.
A telescopic lift was used to get the animal into a standing position and the fire service cannot explain why the horse was on its side.
