THE mayor of Worcester has praised Warndon Villages for its green and well-kept roundabouts.
Councillor Stephen Inman was guest of honour at Warndon Parish Council on Monday and praised the area's lush roundabouts.
Coun Inman does his shopping at the Tesco store next to Lyppard Grange Community Centre, where the parish council meets.
He said: "I do compliment you on your roundabouts. There have been some big strides this year. I think the parish council and the parks department ought to be complimented on the work they have done on the roundabouts."
