A SCHOOL librarian in Worcester is in the running to scoop a prestigious title.
Linda Bromyard has been nominated for the School Library Association's Librarian of the Year 2008.
Mrs Bromyard has worked as the manager at the Learning Resources Centre at Bishop Perowne CofE College for the past five years.
"I am absolutely delighted to have been nominated for this award," said the mother-of-three. "It is a real honour."
Mrs Bromyard was nominated by Dawn Woods, schools library services manager at Worcestershire County Council.
"I have a wonderful team of student librarians from Years 7 to 9 and value the support they give to me and the Learning Resources Centre," she said.
Mrs Bromyard has been nominated for the title once before.
