VIV Jackman, president, welcomed a depleted group at Comer WI's June meeting. There being several apologies due to holidays, being that time of year, illness and Thelma Appleton returning to Jersey, left a gap on the treasurer's table.
There were a couple of birthdays to celebrate and Pam Rouse was thanked for her attractive pot plant which she had donated as a raffle prize.
Jackie Taylor, secretary, discussed a very lengthy list of correspondence and arrangements were made for several events.
The speaker was Christine Gledhill on Jam As A Craft.
The next meeting will be on July 18, 7.30pm, at St David's Institute with Robin Clifton's A Life Of Painting.
