MORE than £17,000 worth of property, products and cash was taken during burglaries at two Evesham hairdressers on the same night.

The bulk went from Achille Hair Salon, Bridge Street, between 7.30pm on Thursday, June 21 and 8.40am on Friday, June 22.

Stolen were 1,000 packs of hair-dye, valued at £6,000; various hairdressing materials valued at £5,713; a £1,000 Vision 32ins TV; nearly £750 in cash; five GHD hair straighteners valued at £725; make-up valued at nearly £700; four GHD gift packs worth £580 and £180 worth of L'oreal products.

Nearly £1,500 worth of items and cash were stolen from Stylers, Mill Street between 6.30pm on Thursday, June 21 and 9.05am Friday, June 22.

Taken were a £700 Sanyo 40ins TV, a £300 black, hand-shaped chair; 30 black and white towels, valued at £150; a £140 GHD hair-straightener; £100 in cash and £100 worth of - as yet unspecified - electrical equipment.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious at either of the locations between the given times or who are suspicious about any items they are offered for sale - or as gifts - that match the descriptions of the stolen items.
