A WORCESTERSHIRE teenager has been chosen to join the most prestigious youth theatre group in the UK.
Bromsgrove schoolgirl Iskra Lawrence can now call herself a student of the National Youth Theatre - where successful actors Orlando Bloom and Daniel Craig also trained.
Iskra, who has just finished her GCSEs, had to audition for the place and impressed the panel with her monologue performance from the Greek tragedy The Trojan Women.
Last year, the 16-year-old acted alongside Hollywood A-listers Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Eric Bana and Kristen Scott-Thomas, after landing the part of a maid in the film The Other Boleyn Girl, due to be released in February 2008.
She'll start training with the NYT this summer.
