WORCESTERSHIRE could be lashed by more torrential rain this weekend as another area of low pressure sweeps the UK.
Worcester News weatherman Paul Damari said the county could expect another half an inch, (12.7mm), of rain tonight and between one and two inches, (20-50mm), during Friday night and into Saturday.
"Another low pressure is moving in from the Atlantic following the same path as the previous system," he said.
"It is going to move very slowly across and could bring with it some more heavy showers.
"Sunday will be more sunny but there is still the risk of showers, and at present next week doesn't appear to see much change, although things can change very quickly."
Mr Damari said the low pressure was unusually farther south than it usually is at this time of year, which - coupled with high pressure over the continent - is causing the heavy rain and flash floods.
