Britain's new Prime Minister has been challenged by the leader of the city council to "show him the money" to help build new affordable homes.
Coun Simon Geraghty has called upon Gordon Brown to live up to his promises to help get more young people on the housing ladder.
Mr Brown made affordable housing the main thrust of his initiation speech as Labour leader last Sunday.
