A TALENTED pool team have potted £75 for charity. The Brunswick Arms A team, based at the Malvern Road pub in St John's, won the trophy and cash at the end of the pool season. They decided to donate it to Acorns Children's Hospice in Bath Road after being inspired by the efforts of Chris Jones from Holt Heath, who recently pedalled 965 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End for the charity. Lee Huxley, one of the successful pool players, said: "Chris is one of my friends and we just thought this was a good way of supporting him and donating to a worthwhile cause."
