YOUNGSTERS at a Worcestershire school stepped back in time for a special 1970s extravaganza.
Children at Kidderminster's Franche Community First School delved into the music and memorabilia of the time, thanks to Hartlebury Museum's Museum On The Move tour bus, as part of their history studies.
The interactive, multi-sensory exhibition, sponsored by Worcestershire County Council and Hartlebury Museum, is a celebration of the life, music and the influences that created the world we live in today. Everything from Elvis Presley to Beano annuals enjoy the spotlight.
Year 4 teacher, Karen Crawford, said: "This type of hands on' sensory learning experience encourages children to explore human history and popular culture outside the classroom. Listening to music icons such as Elvis Presley, ABBA, David Cassidy and the Muppet Show had their curiosity in a total spin." The children donned platform boots and vintage glasses for the day.
