The June meeting was in Holt Village Hall. Jean Silver stood in as president for Margaret Peters who is recovering from an operation. Jean informed us of Margaret's progress and that Diane and Peter Field were away celebrating their golden wedding.
A coffee morning is to be held on July 19 at Rowe Farm, Ockeridge Lane, at the home of Diane and Peter Field. There will be a plant stall and bring and buy. It will start at 10.30am.
The floral group had visited Stocktonbury Gardens, near Leominster. They were delightful and well worth a visit.
Eight members have entered the Shrawley Cup competition. It is to be a treasure hunt around Hallow Village..
Pam Wiltshire had volunteered to be our co-ordinator for the new village website which is being set up.
Jane Brain gave a report on the annual meeting at the Royal Albert Hall.
Chairmain Vilven gave us a fascinating talk on patchwork and quilting.
