TWO lanes of the M5 were closed after a collision between a coach and a car yesterday.
Initially it was thought multiple vehicles had been involved in the incident which happened between junctions 5 and 6 at 5.10pm.
Six fire crews attended the scene and one person had to cut free from the wreckage of the car.
As a result of the collision, traffic tailed back to junction 7 and journeys were delayed by about 30 minutes.
Both lanes were re-opened by 6.30pm.
