The Cubs and Scouts from the 13th Worcester Scout Group based in Warndon, Worcester took part with other Cubs and Scouts from Worcester in the Centenary District Camp at Blackwell Court near Bromsgrove.
We spent 2 nights camping and took part in lots of activities. The Scouts went to Upton Warren and did canoeing, sailing, raft building, etc on Saturday. Meanwhile the Cubs did grass sledging, archery, abseiling, climbing, fencing, and lots more activities. Beavers came out for the afternoon on Saturday and took part in activities with the Cubs in a torrential downpour! On Sunday the Cubs continued with more adventurous activities and the Scouts took part in an incident hike. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a fantastic time and look forward to the next District camp in 2009.by Wendy Phelps - Group Scout Leader, Scout Leader and Cub Leader, 13th Worcester
