A CAR caught fire on the M5 Northbound.
The car's brake drums overheated creating a small fire.
The care fire is between Worcester (Junction 6) and Droitwich (Junction 5) and it is currently blocking one lane.
Liam Andrews, who is stuck in the traffic told us that "M5 North junction 7 to 4 standstill."
No-one was trapped in the car, and it is believed no other emergency services were in attendance.
Breakdown on #M5 northbound remains blocking one lane between J6 #Worcester & J5 #Droitwich with delays of an hour from J7 #Evesham

We re-opened a lane on #M5. Just 1 lane closed while we continue to assist @HWFire with a vehicle J6-J5. Long delays
