A NEW Sainsbury's food store will finally be built in St John's as part of a massive £6.6m scheme to transform the area.
Exciting plans have been unveiled for a new sports centre, an all-weather pitch for Christopher Whitehead High School and a community centre off Swanpool Walk.
The deal is on the verge of being struck, and will see all the new facilities in place by the end of next year.
