A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after a collision between a car and a horsebox.
The man in his 60s was trapped in the wreckage of his vehicle for almost an hour after the incident, which happened on the A465, two miles from Stoke Lacey, near Bromyard, just after 3.30pm yesterday.
Two Rapid Response vehicles attended the scene, along with a Community First Responder, ambulance and County Air Ambulance.
The casualty, who was the only person involved who received serious injuries, was cut free from his vehicle by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and then airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham suffering from chest and arm injuries.
