A REPTILE expert can be seen helping to move two of the largest and heaviest snakes in the country in the next instalment of a popular television series.
Herpetologist Mark O'Shea returns to West Midland Safari Park to co-ordinate the move of two anacondas, but it is not an easy task.
Mr O'Shea, who is consultant curator of reptiles at the park near Bewdley, has previously caught 40 anacondas in the wild - the biggest being 6m long and 11 stone, 4lbs (73kg) in weight.
So it is perhaps not surprising then that moving a fully-grown green anaconda weighing 8 stone, 2lb (52 kg) to a new home goes without much event.
However, a 7 stone, 6lb (48kg) anaconda proves to be more lively and Mr O'Shea is lucky to escape with his sight.
The seventh episode of the eight-part series Safari Park can be seen on ITV1 at 6pm on Sunday.
