WORCESTER homeowners rushed to put their properties up for sale at a record rate in May in an effort to beat the introduction of Home Information Packs.
However, since HIP's postponement, the market has levelled out, although new buyer enquiries continue to rise, increasing at the quickest rate since last August despite the recent interest rate increase.
The figures are revealed in the latest report by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
