AN entrepreneurial Worcester couple will be in the limelight tonight when their environmentally-friendly invention comes under the scrutiny of millions of television viewers.

Justin and Michele Chieffo will appear on primetime show Tycoon hoping to win the backing of Peter Jones, the multi-millionaire panelist in hit BBC show Dragon's Den.

Mr and Mrs Chieffo are launching the Be-Eco, a British-manufactured fabric bag designed to hold about 30 supermarket carrier bags, making it easy to take them on shopping trips and reuse them.

Theirs is the first product from Tycoon to reach British shops in time for when the show goes on air tonight.

Mr Jones is overseeing six budding entrepreneurs who are aiming to turn their product ideas into profitable businesses in just 10 weeks. Viewers will see the last six weeks of the contest, which includes a live final. The winner scoops the profits made by all six companies.

Mr Chieffo, a 36-year-old father-of-two from Drake Avenue, Dines Green, said: "The idea was Michele's. She thought of it in October last year and we are currently working full time on it."

At the moment, Mr Chieffo, a computer programmer, is in London, where Mr Jones is keeping a watchful eye on him.

Mr Chieffo said: "Peter Jones has been really helpful, It is a strict agenda, but it is a really great experience."

The show is on ITV1 at 9pm.
