WORCESTER College of Technology has been celebrating a successful first year at its Beacon Study Centre.
The Beacon is the focal point for the delivery of literacy and numeracy within the college. It also a centre for expert additional learning support.
The centre was officially opened last month.
A spokesman for the college said: "Both students and the Beacon team have delighted in their new centre over the last academic year. This wonderful learning environment has seen student numbers increase by 60 per cent. The majority of these learners will go on to achieve national literacy and numeracy accreditation."
