Traditionally, June is the month of our garden meeting, this year hosted by Jo and Digby Wood.
We have been successful in our application for a community grant and two large light-weight folding tables will be bought for our use and that of others using the village hall. Discretion has been given to our delegate to the annual meeting in the Albert Hall when voting on the closure of community hospitals.
Details were given of the activities of the walking and theatre and arts groups.
We next meet on Thursday, July 5 at 7.30 pm in Callow End Village Hall when Maurice Everett will talk on The Garden at Bannut. Visitors always welcome JANE WILSON
