In a rare break from rehearsals for the Summer Symphony, that is being held at West Midland Safari Park on 7th July 2007, Stephen Roberts, Sharon Wall and Jacqui Hill visited the Park briefly to teach Moocha the Sea Lion a thing or two about performing in public, as it sounds as though her musical interpretation skills leaves much to be desired!

The next time that Stephen visits the Park will be in his official capacity as the internationally renowned, distinguished Conductor of the English Symphony Orchestra, which performs for the very first time in the Park's 200-acre grounds, during the fifth annual outdoor event, which brings together a classical music extravaganza, musical tribute and dramatic firework finale. Clarinettist Sharon Wall and Violinist Jacqui Hill will also be playing with the Orchestra.

Stephen Roberts has performed in over sixty countries and his works are regularly featured in the concert hall, as well as on radio, television and film. He has been Associate Conductor of the E S O since 2003. Some of his latest work includes music for the six part Carlton TV series "The Real Brassed Off" and the film "Teifi" shown at the Cardiff, Los Angeles and Tokyo animated film festivals.

The Summer Symphony is sponsored by hotelshop UK and is being held to help raise funds for The Prince's Trust in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
