This is the season to express yourself through your clothes, after all this summer is going to be a story of clashing colours, individual looks and the vintage 50's. We're going to run through some of this summer's hottest styles and give tips on how to dress your body shape.

Here are a few must haves for this summer, starting with a great dress which can be dressed up for the evening and down for the day. Simply by changing flats for a killer pair of heels and by adding a few essential accessories for example a clutch bag and long beady necklace! The maxi dress is ideal for taller figures. The A-line works for any height as long as your not top heavy (apple shapes.) The shift dress is for any figure at any time and looks good with a loose belt round the hips.

Shorts are for everyone this summer no matter what your shape there is a pair for you. Beware short shorts however are only for the ladies with perfect pins unless worn with a pair of leggings. Don't fret for all of you who don't, there's an alternative. Bermuda shorts are great they cut off just above the knee, which hides the thighs we're not so proud of!

The blouse is a key item. Especially when they feature princess sleeves, which are very in this season and are also very flattering to the arm. So if your looking for something to cover up your bad bits this style would be good for you. Skinny frames would be more suited to the shirts with a masculine edge whereas for the curvy girls fitting shapes with sucked in waists for example you could add a waist belt to a loose fitting shirt to create the hour glass figure.

Team any of your outfits with a cropped jacket to show off your waist. There great for the cooler summer days and evenings.

The must haves in the way of shoes includes 50's inspired peep-toe sandals, roman sandals and of course the flat ballet pumps that we should all have a pair of!

Hope our hot summer tips have helped you get your wardrobe prepared for the season to express yourself!
