AN ancient breed of woolly pig made a special appearance at the show.
The Mangalitza pig, whose thick coat of curly wool is akin to a sheep, was exhibited as part of the Other Modern Traditional pig class.
It was the first ever show for owner Teresa Griffin, who keeps the pigs as pets. She said: "A total of 17 pigs were brought over from Austria last year, so they really are a new breed for this country. We are here trying to promote them.
The rare breed has bacon of such high quality it was once traded on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
