A BIG bunny from Worcestershire is being used to promote healthy eating at a giant supermarket.

Amy, who is officially the world's biggest bunny, is being used to advertise vegetables at Asda's Milton Keynes store.

Owner Annette Edwards said the 4ft-long continental giant, who weighs in at three stone, is enjoying hogging the limelight.

"They don't call her Amy now, they call her celebrity Amy because she has done so much," said the former Playboy model.

"There's a PR agency in London who said we think this rabbit is going to go further than Bugs Bunny'.

"She loves it because she's getting fuss all the time "She's one of those rabbits that just loves the fuss - she's in her element."

As well as featuring in newspapers and TV shows across the world with Amy, Mrs Edwards, of Stoulton, near Worcester, owns the previous largest bunny record holder Roberto, who weighs in at two and a half stone.

She said the three-and-a-half foot long thumper is enjoying his retirement and was happy to let Amy take centre stage.

"I think he thinks let the women take over'," she said.

In August the mother of 10 is set to travel to America to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman, to discuss how to look good at any age.

"It will be fantastic," said the 55-year-old.

"I can't have Amy taking all the limelight."

She said Amy's diary is looking pretty full, but said she cannot discuss any future projects at the moment.
