PETE Adams profiles the stars of the Worcestershire music scene. This week: PLOT AGAINST PARIS WHO: John Layton (bass/vocals), Chris Minton (guitar), Jim Arnold (drums).
FROM: Worcester.
SOUNDS LIKE: Although Plot Against Paris could have become "just another emo band" when they formed out of the ashes of Fargo in autumn 2005, the three-piece has instead blossomed. Constantly evolving, their sound now draws influences from emo, pop and angular art-rock. Having toured extensively during the last year to support their eponymously titled debut EP, the band's stage show is now both exciting and musically sophisticated. With bags of style and tons of talent, Plot Against Paris are here to stay.
FACT: The New Musical Express called Plot Against Paris "The best-looking gang in town!"!
GIGS: Sunday, July 15 - Our City's Not Dead @ Marr's Bar, Worcester.
