IT'S mean, it's green, it comes from outer space and it's on the way to Worcestershire.

Next month, as part of the town's music and drama festival, a stage production of the mad-cap black comedy Little Shop Of Horrors is on at the Norbury Theatre.

It tells the story of Seymour Krelbourn, a florist's assistant on downtown Skid Row, who has his life flipped upside down when he comes across an unusual plant.

When he discovers that the plant feeds on blood, events start to spiral out of control - as the plant thrives it brings Seymour fame, fortune and the girl of his dreams, but he struggles to satisfy its ever increasing appetite.

Little Shop of Horrors runs from Wednesday, July 4, to Saturday, July 7 and then from July 11 to July 14. For tickets, priced £7-£9, call the box office on 01905 770154 or the 24-hour ticketline on 08700 600100.
