BREATHTAKING, sumptuous, spellbinding, magical - the adulation goes on.

Described as one of the most exciting and exhilarating stage shows you will ever see, Le Grand Cirque has amazed more than 10 million people worldwide, smashed box office records and continues to receive standing ovations night after night.

The show features an international cast of 50 world champion acrobats and performers from more than 15 different countries including China, Russian and Monte Carlo.

The world's best jugglers, contortionists, clowns, high-wire artists and acrobats will grace the stage of the Malvern Theatres - the result is, to say the least, a spectacle. While some critics were turned off by the glitz, others could not get enough of the show they labelled "lavish" and "intriguing".

David King, executive producer of the show, said: "The performers in Le Grand Cirque cannot simply be classified as acrobats, dancers or jugglers. They are first and foremost artists performing a visual poetry of unbelievable physical talent, excellent skill and first-class choreography.

"This has been a truly fascinating journey that took us to many continents and introduced us to amazing international cultures. We saw talents that we never thought possible before, visiting training schools in Africa, Asia and Europe where some of the world's finest athletes train for 16 hours a day."

It was Cirque de Soleil that changed the face of circus-style shows and this family friendly show, from the award winning team behind Spirit Of The Dance, is the result.

Le Grand Cirque is at Malvern Theatres from Tuesday, June 26, to Sunday, July 1. Tickets, priced £21 to £32, are available from the box office on 01684 892277 or online at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
