THOUSANDS of pounds worth of vacuum cleaners have been stolen from a lorry.
Police have warned people to be wary of offers of Dyson vacuums from unusual sources after 24 - worth £7,200 - were stolen from a white Volvo box van at the Vale Truck Stop on the A46 near Evesham.
The £300 cleaners were taken after £500 worth of damage was caused to the curtain-sides of the vehicle between 3.30am and 4.22am yesterday.
A police spokesman said: "There is every likelihood that the highly distinctive cleaners will be offered for re-sale."
