A man has appeared in court charged with a racially aggravated public order offence and criminal damage after an alleged incident outside a nightclub.
Darren Fairbrother, aged 22, Medway Road, Ronkswood, Worcester, appeared before the city's magistrates yesterday. He has yet to enter a plea to the charges connected to an incident outside Bushwackers in the city centre.
Fairbrother is accused of causing £395 worth of damage to property and of using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour with intent to cause the fear of unlawful violence.
He will next appear before Worcester magistrates on Friday, August 10, for committal to crown court and was granted unconditional bail until that date.
