A PREGNANT woman and two other people were injured in a head-on collision last night.
The two cars, believed to be a Renault Megane and a people carrier-style vehicle, collided on the A422 at Spetchley, Worcester, at 8.30pm.
A pregnant woman, thought to be in her 30s, was trapped and suffered serious multiple leg injuries.
A man and woman, travelling together in one car and believed to be in their 30s or 40s received chest injuries.
Both women had to be cut out of the vehicles by firefighters.
A total of three fire crews, two ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle, incident officer and BASICS doctor attended the scene.
All three casualties were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
