A ROYAL visitor will be coming to a Worcestershire village next week to officially open its new health centre.
His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent will be in Inkberrow on Wednesday, June 20, for the opening.
Inkberrow was crowned the Calor Village of the Year in 2006, and as such is currently representing the county in the Calor Village of the Year for England competition, having recently been visited by judges.
Village representative Elizabeth Collins will be present at the health centre opening. She said: "We are extremely proud to be welcoming the Duke of Kent to our community. It's wonderful that our health centre will be opened in such style, but the visit will also be an excellent opportunity to highlight to His Royal Highness what a lively and enthusiastic community we are."
