A WORCESTERSHIRE business park could be set to expand again later this year, with plans for 24 new offices being lined up by property developers.

Greenbox Properties has applied to Wychavon District Council for planning permission to build the new office block on the former Murley Agricultural site on the Vale Business Park, Evesham.

The current industrial building would not be demolished to make room. It would be altered and extended to provide offices on two floors.

The application also includes plans for a new car park and landscaping.

The offices will vary in size from 970 sq ft up to 1450 sq ft and are described as "offering a bright and open environment away from the idea of traditional offices". All the offices will have an allocation of four car parking spaces. People will enter through an electronic security gate.

James Rutherford, of Greenbox, said: "We create a modern environment in all our developments, using high-specification materials and excellent workmanship. We use contemporary designs including dark wood flooring, comfort cooling and luxury kitchens and washrooms.

"We take pride in being a creative and sustainable developer and have taken the concept of apartment living and introduced it into office space."

A consultation period where members of the public can make known their views on the application, runs until Friday, June 15.

Wychavon District Council has to make a decision by August 21 and has earmarked a planning meeting on August 14 as the occasion to determine the matter.
