A CAT who won a prestigious competition in 2005 has gone missing from his home.
Humphrey, the black-and-white cat who was crowned Pet Idol in the Worcester News, disappeared in the Homestead area of Warndon Villages on Friday, May 25, and hasn't been seen since.
His owner Sarah Harris said this was the first time he had been away for more than 24 hours and was extremely worried about him. He could also be in the St Peter's area of the city as Miss Harris used to live there.
"I have done everything I can to find him and get him back home but I have failed. It's really distressing. Two weeks is just a bit too long for him," she said.
Miss Harris has put posters around the area and also distributed about 200 leaflets in an effort to find him.
Humphrey, aged two, was crowned the winner of the Worcester News' first Pet Idol competition in 2005.
He has a distinctive black and white nose, which Miss Harris believes makes him quite recognisable.
"I'm just really worried and hope I find him soon."
