A Brum date for the Goat Ropers
THE Goat Roper Rodeo Band don't actually rope goats for a living, or even for fun; but their sound is just as unique as their name, some aficionados say.
On Friday, September 30, from 7.30pm, the band members will be their usual eccentric selves at Birmingham's O2 Institute, when they will be supporting Ren Harvieu and Romeo Stodart.
A spokesman said: "With just two old guitars, an upright bass and a bucket full of rich, aching harmony, the band preach foot-stomping country blues like you’ve never heard before."
