THE ORCHESTRA of the Swan has come of age this year, having turned 21, and to celebrate the landmark occasion a series of exclusive concerts have been organised, all based at a local stately home.
A spokesman said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beautiful setting of Armscote Manor in Warwickshire, whilst raising money for the orchestra in its 21st anniversary year."
Proceeds will be match-funded, pound for pound, by Arts Council England.
Only 100 tickets will be available for each concert.
The programme is as follows:
Vivaldi's Four Seasons with David Le Page, on October 14.
Bach Concertos and Corelli Christmas Concerto with David Le Page and Victoria Brawn, on December 16.
The English Genius – Holst, Purcell, Walton, Elgar and Britten, on March 10, 2017.
A Summer Serenade – Grieg and Dvo?ák, on June 2, 2017.
