AN annual award evening has celebrated the achievements of pupils at Nunnery Wood High School.
The event saw awards and prizes presented to students for their work and effort in every curriculum subject from art to science.
Consistent effort throughout the year was also rewarded.
More than 250 awards were presented during two evenings on Tuesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 14 in front of parents and family members.
Curriculum leaders in every subject were there to present the awards, along with headteacher Steven Powell, school governors and members of the school’s senior leadership team.
Mr Powell said: “These award evenings followed a series of celebration assemblies in the school.
"It’s a great time of year and a wonderful chance to thank students and parents.”
Both evenings were enhanced by performances from some of Nunnery Wood High's musicians.
