CHILDREN, parents and staff have bid a fond farewell to a long-standing member of staff at Cranham Primary School.
Jacqui Maycock has retired after a staggering 39 years, 242 days at the school.
She began her career at Cranham on January 17 1977 and has seen thousands of children through the school.
Head Gareth Morgan said: "To say she will be missed is a huge understatement because the contribution she has made to the school and local community has been immense."
He said staff, friends and children had given Mrs Maycock a great send off as she left the school on Friday, July 22.
