NURSERY children who wished the Queen a happy birthday were "excited" to open a letter of thanks from the monarch herself.
Youngsters at Droitwich Spa Nursery and Kindergarten posted birthday drawings to Her Majesty earlier this year to mark her 90th birthday.
A nursery spokesman said: "The children in the Kindergarten unit were thrilled to send the Queen a special picture to wish her a happy Birthday.
"They spent a long time with their key worker Sarah Lamb creating their masterpieces and were delighted to receive the letter this week thanking them and were very proud to show it to their peers."
